Each story is told in such a way as to help women of todayÑsingles, wives, mothers, and grandmothersÑconnect with the women of the Bible so that they can apply the lessons they embody to daily life today. Each chapter includes a profile of a biblical woman along with Scripture passages related to her story. The story highlights the womanÕs strengths and weaknesses, her glory and her sin, her triumphs and her failures. The end of each chapter provides a practical summary and questions for individual reflection or group discussion. The stories of these women of the Bible are real, relevant, and radical, and they still speak to our lives today, encouraging us to make a difference as well.
