Instead, the book focuses upon God’s timely interventions, and His love for a people who were often disobedient and quick to forget how He had acted to save them from destruction. Each battle has points of application and reflection for the reader. Included in this book are vital lessons that had to be learnt by God’s people – and still need to be learned by his people today!
